Chianti Tour

Leaving from Siena the first stop will be the Monteriggioni castle, a spectacular example of a medieval village. Leaving the valley you will start to climb in the direction of Castellina in Chianti and you will reach the  Chianti Classico region. Amongst the many producers of this wine one of the most famous for its productions is “Castellare”. Here you will stop for our first wine tasting. You will continue in the direction of Radda in Chianti (always surrounded by an incredible nature) where you will stop to have a visit of the town center. At 5 km from Radda is situated “Castello D'Albola” and it is there on a hill that overlooks the village of Radda that you will go for the second wine tasting.
With an English guided tour you will visit the old wine cellar and taste some of the best productions of the winery (including Chianti Classico, Supertuscan and Chardonnay).
We can also organize on request a delicious typical lunch into a local "Trattoria".

Brunello Tour

Leaving from Siena you will pass through the ancient road Cassia, direction south and you will start to climb towards Montalcino (placed at more than 500 m above sea level). By then you will be in the production area of one of the world's most famous wines: the Brunello di Montalcino. You will admire the incredible “val D’Orcia” landscapes, and you can visit the village of Montalcino: a jewel of history and medieval architecture. Going on with the tour, you will discover one of the most important wineries for the production of Brunello: “I Barbi”. After a short visit of the S. Antimo abbey, one of the most important and powerful of the middle-age, the tour will end with another wine tasting at “Poggio Antico”. The Brunello of this winery is of top quality, as you can read on the best national and international enological magazine. We can also organize on request a delicious typical' lunch into a local "Trattoria".

Pienza & Montepulciano

Leaving from Siena with an english speaking driver, you will visit Montepulciano, famous for its renaissance architecture. The driver will drop you off in the main square (Piazza Grande), where you can visit all the main monuments (Duomo, Palazzo Pubblico, very similar to Palazzo Vecchio in Florence and other renaissance buildings). Next stop will be Pienza, one of the most famous and beautiful hill top town of the entire Tuscany. This village became a jewel under the reign of the Piccolomini family (in the Renaissance period). Enea Silvio Piccolomini, elected Pope in 1458, built the main square Piazza Pio II and all the magnificent buildings of the town center (Palazzo del Comune, Palazzo Vescovile, Palazzo Piccolomini and the Duomo). The quite atmosphere of the center, the incredible landscapes of the countryside all around, a coffee sitting in the main square will be an unforgettable experience.
